The central event in this story is the experience of dissociation in early childhood in order to survive.
The child experience an abuse and divides herself in two. One part shuts down emotionally and the other part leaves the body for another, imaginary world.
The dissociation takes the little girl out on a little boat onto a big blue ocean. Here she is all by herself in tears with no one in sight to rescue her. As she cries, her tears turn into diamonds which pile up in the bottom of the boat, as a sparkling diamond mountain.
The journey into another world is a creative behavior of survival - and it points out the human abillity to transform pain into creation through an ever-present connection with light.
